Is a skipper included in the tour?
Yes. Every Lake45 tour is private and always includes a professional, licensed local skipper. You don't need any boating licence — just step aboard and enjoy.
Are the tours private or shared?
Strictly private. The boat is reserved for your group only (maximum 6 guests) — no strangers, no fixed route, and the freedom to change plans on the water.
Where do the tours depart from?
From Tremezzo, in the Golfo di Lenno on the western shore. We also offer free pickup from the docks of Cadenabbia, Sala Comacina, Menaggio, Bellagio and Varenna — including luxury hotels such as the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, Villa Serbelloni and The Lake Como EDITION.
What tours and prices do you offer?
Lake Essence (1h, €250), Lake Charm (2h, €470 — our most booked), Lake Heritage (3h, €700), Lake Wonders (4h, €900), and a 2-hour Sunset Tour (€500). Fully tailor-made routes are available on request. All prices are all-inclusive.
What's included in the price?
One transparent price covers the private boat, fuel, your licensed skipper, live commentary on the villas and a welcome aperitivo on board (a bottle of Italian wine; Aperol Spritz available; premium Prosecco on the Sunset Tour). No extras at the dock.
Which villas and landmarks will I see?
The cinematic western shore: Villa del Balbianello (Star Wars, James Bond's Casino Royale), Villa Balbiano (House of Gucci), George Clooney's Villa Oleandra, Villa Carlotta and its gardens, plus Bellagio and the island of Isola Comacina on longer tours.
How many guests can come?
Up to 6 guests per private tour.

Can you do a sunset tour?
Yes — our 2-hour Signature Sunset Tour (€500) is timed for golden hour, with premium Prosecco on board and an optional fine-dining add-on at a hand-selected lakeside restaurant.
Can you arrange a marriage proposal or special event?
Yes. We arrange on-board proposals and act as an honest local concierge — a photographer if you don't have one, a genuine restaurant booked for you, and drivers organised.
